It seems good managers
always tend to find the right results
when they need them, as Steve Coppell
has shown recently by winning three out
of the last four games in the
Premiership, which takes his Reading
team more or less out of the relegation
scrap below them.
It was a great time
for the Royals to find some form, as
before this recent run they had lost an
unbelievable eight games on the bounce
which had seem them as likely candidates
to fall into the Championship next year.
In their last match the Royals secured a
huge 2-1 win over Birmingham at the Madjeski, and they now face Mark Hughes's
Blackburn side who although are sitting
pretty in eight place, are struggling
with their away form, with two defeats
in their last three in the Premiership
away from Ewood Park.
In
their last away trip Blackburn suffered a
2-1 defeat at West Ham, which will really
have dented Mark Hughes's UEFA Cup
aspirations, but in all honesty the former
Man Utd star really has Rovers pointing in
the right direction.
Bookmakers price this one up as the Reading
home win 11/8, the draw is 11/5 while a
Blackburn away win is 2/1.
Bet365 offer a
free £100
bet on this game and at
11/10 I'm prepared to go for the Over 2.5
goals today. Both these sides have no
problems scoring goals at the moment, with
Reading all of a sudden looking dangerous at
set pieces, and Dave Kitson looks like he's
found his scoring boots.
Reading's last two
games have finished 2-1, while Blackburn's
last two read 3-1 and 2-1. It must also be
said that Reading are terrible at holding
onto a lead, while Blackburn have only kept
one clean sheet in their last five matches
in the Premiership.
The fixed odds winner of this game is too
difficult to predict at the moment, and the
overs definitely looks like the right bet
today.© Free-Bets.uk 2008
