Well what everyone is
wondering coming into this game is
whether it will be a blue day or a red
day come 5 o clock. Chelsea have really
given themselves an outside chance of
snatching the Premiership title from Man
Utd after beating the Red Devils at
Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago, and going on an
unbeaten run in the Premiership that stretches back to
December of last year.
The Blues have
won six of their last eight games in the
Premiership, and know that if Man Utd
slip up at Wigan, then the league is
there for the taking. So surely they
wont slip up against Bolton?
.
Bolton
may not be the prettiest team to watch with
their no nonsense approach, but I have to
take my hat off to Gary Megson and the team
as they really have pulled their sleeves up
and battled and fought for their Premiership
survival.
That is guaranteed, with their
superior goal difference meaning Reading
must win by twelve or more goals to stay up.
Their survival is mainly down to some fine
recent form, which has seen the side
unbeaten in four, with three wins.
Betfair currently price Chelsea as
overwhelming favourites @ 1/6, the draw is
7/1 while the unthinkable Bolton away win is
20/1.
Of course, Chelsea will win this game hands
down, as there is so much riding on this
game that I'm sure Chelsea's variety of
stars will put in a quality performance to
claim the three points. I'm not discounting
Bolton's chances, as they have only conceded
one goal in their last four and they can
prove to be stubborn opponents.
Betfair offer a
free £25 bet on this game
and I really like Wigan +2, +2.5 on the asian
handicap at 1.8.
Gary Megson is the sort of manager who
would love his side to annoy , antagonise
and basically make a nuisance of themselves
against Chelsea's multi million pound
players, and although I expect Chelsea to
win, there will be a certain amount of
nerves from the home side.
With a +2.5
handicap on Bolton, Chelsea have to win by
three or more, and the last time Chelsea
scored more than two goals in a Premiership
game was the 4-4 draw with Spurs mid March.
Bolton can keep this one tight. © Free-Bets.uk
